Mission Statement:
We must work to expand and enrich the rights and opportunities afforded to the armed forces when they are abroad and on the home front. These advantages are aimed to not only improve the lives of those serving, but their families and the members of society who will benefit from the contributions provided by these brave soldiers. Unfortunately, as we have seen over the years, so many veterans are left without services crucial to their rehabilitation and re-entry back to civilian life.
Now more then ever such services are imperative considering how long we’ve been engaged in hostile conflict. Every member of our armed services should be afforded rehabilitation, therapy, and mandatory classes on how to utilize the services already provided to them. There should be no time limits or exceptions for services such as these. These troops should receive adequate compensation for the peril they faced by voluntarily risking their lives to ensure liberty for all. Please click here to sign the petition
A living stipend should be dispensed to give them an opportunity to find employment and help them and their families stay solvent economically during their military to civilian transition, be it preparing for school or a business undertaking. Risking one’s life and putting it on hold for three or four years should coincide with certain advantages, and these advantages may even encourage others to enlist and strengthen our numbers, decreasing the time and frequency of deployment for our soldiers.
We must protect those who are putting their lives on the line each day to protect us. This bill of rights should be written by veterans and their families for the veterans, not by men and women who have no idea what it is like to have to transition back into society after three or four deployments.
